Raccoons, opossums, otters, skunks, weasels, etc, also show 5 toes. An eastern gray squirrel’s front paws are about 1-1/4 to 1-3/4 inches back paws 1-1/4 to 3-1/4 inches. Squirrels might be a possibility, although again, sometimes one of the toes doesn’t register on a print, at least on the front paw. Members of the rodent family have 5 toes usually these are smaller than a silver dollar, though, and in many cases, one toe on the front paw usually does not register.
